Provides: – Urban AQ monitoring combining authority observation network with complementary sensor networks and smart portable sensors – High resolution AQ maps assimilated with observations and AQ forecast (EnFuser-FMI) – Detailed AQ information from research stations at street canyon and urban background sites – Provision of streamlined information to support decision making regarding AQ |
Makes use of: In situ, regional atmospheric model, smart sensors, data fusion
Smart features: – High resolution (12m) online open data of AQI and pollutant concentrations – 24 hour AQ forecast provided on webpages (www.hsy.fi/airqualitymap) as well as on info screens in trams and metros – Citizen engagement (personal monitors, mobile apps) – Development of online-calibration of smart sensors based on machine learning |
