Smart City development was the main subject, of the Press Conference held by Brno Mayor, focusing on evironmental issues of the city and their colleration with health issues, analyzing also the value of sustainable energy buildings, and rainwater in the pipeline. In addition to the above, a subject of great concern in Brno is Air Quality control related to traffic, emissions from constructions and local heating. SMURBS project was mentioned as a source of the data set to be used in forthcoming strategies of such urban planning.
