Knowledge Organization and Management in the domain of Environment and Earth Observation (KOMEEO), an upcoming conference is organized to be held virtually by SMURBS partner UNICAL,  the Laboratory of Documentation (LabDoc), University of Calabria and by the Italian Chapter of the International Society of Knowledge Organization (ISKO) within the ERAPLANET project. The conference aims to share and exchange experiences and research results on all aspects concerning knowledge organization and management in the environmental and EO domain. Considering the large amount and the heterogeneity of collected and archived data further to the difficulty of sharing them with stakeholders and policy makers , the ERA-PLANET project adopted activities under the so-called KETs (Key-Enabling Technologies) and oriented to the construction of KOSs (Knowledge Organization Systems) for semantic interoperability.
