NOA was invited to demonstrate SMURBS experience and activities in a University workshop on Air quality monitoring and management (December 17th, 2021, University of Patras, Greece). Around 50 APCG University students were familiarized with the SMURBS project as a whole, and they were further informed about urban air quality issues and solutions based on the modeling and innovative sensors EO platforms and on Copernicus data. In particular, the AQ-LMS network in Athens was presented, while the two SMURBS solutions of European coverage were shown: the UrbEm tool and the SDG 11.6.2 EO platform, all developed in the frame of SMURBS project.

SMURBS has laid the ground for the Pilot 2.3 "EO-based pollution-health risks profiling in the urban environment" of the e-shape project, thus, the audience was additionally informed about the relevant ongoing activities in the frame of e-shape.
